Terms of Service
Draft — pending counsel review. Effective date will be set before first sale.
The rules for buying tickets and watching shows on Ballyhoo.
Service description. Ballyhoo is a digital ticketing platform for filmed shows. We sell access to watch a show through our web player, including interactive multi-angle playback where available. We don’t sell physical tickets, and we don’t run the venue or produce the show ourselves.
Accounts & sign-in. There are no passwords. You sign in with a magic link we email to you — click it and you’re in. Keep your email account secure: anyone with access to it can access your tickets and your library.
Purchases & preorders. Some shows are sold as preorders before they’re available to watch. Preorders are charged at the moment of purchase — not on the show’s release date. Watch access opens on the release date shown at checkout. The price you pay is the ticket price plus a service fee and any applicable sales tax, all shown before you confirm.
Refunds. You can request a full refund any time before release-day access opens. Once access opens, refunds are no longer available on request. See our Refund Policy for the full process and timeline.
Acceptable use. Your ticket is for you and your household — not for sharing with friends, fans, or the public beyond that. We enforce concurrent-stream and device limits at playback, and we may suspend accounts that attempt to circumvent them.
Content license. Purchasing a ticket grants a personal, non-transferable license to view the show during its access window. You may not record, download, redistribute, publicly perform, or otherwise share the content. This license ends when your access window ends or your ticket is refunded.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability. The service is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free streaming, and availability can be affected by factors outside our control (your connection, device, or third-party infrastructure). To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to your ticket is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Changes to these terms. We may update these terms as the platform evolves. If we make a change that materially affects your rights, we’ll post the update here with a new effective date before it applies to future purchases.
